Chris Dorsi is a partner at Saturn Resource Management, a national consultancy based in Helena, Montana. He works with state and federal governments, public utilities, and private industry to
publish field manuals of efficiency and safety standards. He also develops energy management curricula for dozens of technical schools.
Chris spent twenty-five years operating a construction firm that specialized in “sustainable” housing long before the idea had come of age. He welcomes the economic motivation that current high fuel prices provide for efficient construction. He is currently involved in writing building performance standards for the DOE
Home Performance with Energy Star program, and in training customer service personnel for the Pacific Gas and Electric Company. Chris is the co-author of the Saturn Building Performance Field Guides, the Comprehensive Home Energy Curriculum, and Residential Energy: Cost Savings and Comfort for Existing Buildings.
Chris is a certified HERS rater with the Residential Energy Services Network, and a certified Building Analyst, Envelope Specialist, and Heating Technician with the Building Performance Institute.
